A bit about me
I am a Bristol based, BACP accredited integrative counsellor with many years experience in private practice, working with adults and young people on a range of issues, including neurodivergence, chronic illness, childhood trauma, relationship/family issues, emotional/narcisisstic abuse, to name but a few.
I offer a space for you to open up and explore your feelings in a confidential, non-judgemental and empathic environment. Maybe you want to work through a particular situation or life event, or look at unhelpful patterns of feeling/behaviour. Perhaps you are interested in developing your personal awareness by exploring aspects of your ‘self ‘ further. You are the expert on you and I am here to support you to find a way to help yourself. There are many reasons why you may be choosing to seek counselling at this time, and no one situation is the same as another. Your life and story is unique to you, so I am flexible with the approach I use, finding a way of working to suit you.
I am trained in Integrative counselling which includes Person-Centred, Gestalt, Psychodynamic and Transactional Analysis approaches, as well as having completed additional training in trauma therapy and EMDR therapy. I draw from all these approaches in my work, but at the core of my work I am relational.
